Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz 340g pasta of your choice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup (120g) heavy cream
  • 1 tsp (5g) lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving optional

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of the pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and whisk until smooth.
  • Add the heavy cream and whisk until the sauce thickens. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the saucepan and toss until the pasta is well coated in the lemon sauce. Add the reserved pasta water if needed.
  • Plate your pasta, garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
