Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4-ounce packets unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water. Let stand for 5 minutes, or until the gelatin softens.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the softened gelatin until it dissolves completely.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared ramekins or molds.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
